In an emergency, the adequacy of well designed evacuation and escape facilities and procedures are critical for the ability of personnel and public to reach muster stations and/or a means of evacuation or escape.  Emtech’s consultants have considerable experience in the design of fire procedures so that the building can be successfully evacuated in case of fire.

Emtech can design the emergency fire evacuation procedures for the property. It will be necessary to undertake a site visit to make a detailed evaluation with regard to the following:

• Size and Location of the Premises
• Use of the Premises
• Number of Occupants
• Number and Location of Escape Routes
• Type of Fire Alarm System
• Number of Internal Staff (House Managers etc.)
• Location of Suitable Muster Area
• Presence of Mobility/Sensory Impaired Personnel

Having ascertained the above information, Emtech will write an appropriate procedure for evacuation. The pack will contain not only the procedures but also detailed instructions for the necessary appointees (Fire Wardens, Liaison Officers etc).
